The mission of Kaleidoscope Cancer Connection is to establish and maintain supportive relationships with those who are living with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.
Bags of Hope are requested and delivered to people in need and are filled with thoughtful items specific to each person. That person is then lovingly followed up with to see how Kaleidoscope can help.
Nutritious home cooked meals are prepared by our Krockpot chefs to ease the burden on families of those undergoing treatment. Meals are delivered to the homes of the recipients on a weekly basis.
Holiday baskets brimming with handmade items, gifts, and homemade goodies are assembled by enthusiastic elves. These baskets bring comfort and joy to those living with cancer, those who have lost a loved one, and those who need extra love and support during the holiday season.
This beautiful original piece of art was donated to Kaleidoscope by artist Rebecca Ellis and shows a recipient of a Bag of Hope. If you'd like to learn more about how to volunteer or contribute to Kaleidoscope please follow this link to their website: www.kaleidoscopehope.org.
Each person’s body, mind, and spirit act in concert and are much more successfully treated as one. In keeping with this paradigm, Kaleidoscope’s intention is to meet its clients wherever they are on their journey with disease and to provide care and support so that they can find healing and peace.
The number of children with cancer is growing and Kaleidoscope reaches out to these precious souls to give them some sort of normalcy in their lives. Please see the Easter Event below coming up in March!
Each year Kaleidoscope organizes a day of fun to celebrate Easter, and this year was no exception. What a great time the children had with their families. We had photos with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, face painting, balloon making, an Easter egg hunt and Bunny Bucks that children got to spend on toys and goodies to pack in their Easter Baskets. And there was lots of food! Please join us next Easter for this special event for some special kids!
Kaleidoscope Kids is a group of children, young people, and their parents who meet monthly with the purpose of making a difference in someone’s life. As the kids make craft projects for the Bags of Hope, share stories, and play games, they build friendships and learn the values of generosity and compassion.
This is a program developed for children diagnosed with cancer. We celebrate holidays and birthdays with children in a family environment that is safe for their compromised immune systems.
